The WellFlon PTFE-coated fiberglass fabric has a variety of applications in flooring, door and window construction. It functions as a release sheet or release belt for flooring, PVC window and door materials. This release sheet can operate continuously at temperatures below 50°F, and due to its high performance and ease of release properties, the WellFlon process conveyor belt or sheet provides longevity, high production efficiency and maximum reduction in manufacturing downtime.

The WellFlon PTFE fabric has been developed as a release solution for a variety of industrial processes, including curing, lamination, compression moulding, heat setting, bladder press and more. The surface of the fabric can be engineered to be either extremely smooth and defect-free, or textured to facilitate outgassing.

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)

LVT is a fast-growing market in both residential and commercial construction. This type of flooring differs from traditional materials such as ceramic or wooden tiles. PTFE heavy belts are used as release sheets or belts for the lamination of LVT.

Padded and Cushion-Backed Flooring

Padded and cushion-backed flooring, such as anti-fatigue mats, therapeutic pads, artificial turf and traditional carpeting, uses PTFE fabric as a release belt in the curing and cooling process. WellFlon PTFE belts offer excellent release properties, chemical resistance and a long lifetime.

Manufacturing of Recycled Rubber Mats

Crumb rubber flooring or nitrile-backed nylon carpet, such as walk-off mats, uses PTFE fabric as a release belt for the curing and cooling process. WellFlon PTFE belts offer excellent release properties, chemical resistance and a long lifetime.

Walk-off Mat Manufacturing

Walk-off mats appear in our lives all the time. They suppress dirt and dust in homes, buildings and offices and provide relief from fatigue on factory and office floors. The WellFlon PTFE-coated fibreglass belt offers easy release after the curing cycle, and the texture of the PTFE fabric is marked on the surface of the nitrile rubber. The WellFlon PTFE belt is critical in this application due to the high curing temperature of nitrile rubber and its easy-release properties.

PVC Welded Doors & Windows

Due to their high heat insulation properties, good environmental resistance and strong mechanical strength, PVC windows and doors are an increasingly popular and cost-effective solution for buildings around the world. This Teflon-coated fibreglass fabric can be used in all types of heat plate welding process, including V-, flat- and combined-welding platens, as well as RF and microwave systems. WellFlon fabric offers excellent protection for welding plates and provides long-lasting non-stick properties.

Carpet Yarn Heat Curing

WellFlon PTFE dryer belts transport untreated carpet yarn through high-humidity ovens. This process gives the yarn shape memory and stain resistance, making it ready for the next stage of the production process, such as weaving or tufting. PTFE-coated mesh and solid belts can withstand high temperatures and humid environments, as well as the chemical properties of yarns such as PET, acrylic, nylon, polyester, polypropylene and wool.
